Do not show Favoritism | Archive 2025

Introduction:

Politics shows many signs of Favoritism which means there are many who still side on corruption in this world we live in today.  In order to gain power, many are going through many lengths and risks to attain it so in times when we elect a person to seat in power for our country, we should be careful.  This is the same when we preach or spread the word of God our Father, we should ask ourselves if we are really doing it out of fairness or equality or are our faith shrouded with malicious intentions due to favoritism.

1) The Good News about Jesus Christ is for everyone

James 2:1

1 Timothy 5:21

- Equality has been a problem in our society, we never can seem to accept each other because of our color, race, ideals or beliefs. 

- When it comes to the Gospel, God abolished this way of treatment when He gave us His Son Jesus Christ to whom we owe our salvation.

- We should never think that our status in life or riches has more favor to God when it comes to receiving the Gift of His Son: for all to be saved from Sin and Eternal Death.

2) Do not take riches out of the name of God or the teachings of Jesus Christ

Deuteronomy 16:19

Ephesians 6:8-9

- Making money out of God’s teachings and promise of Salvation has been one of the greatest scams that’s plaguing our world before and is sad to know that it still exists. 

- The news I heard recently is even using the word of God to Human abuse.

- Let us learn that God never want His Holy Book to be used to further pain and suffering or to make riches for we all know that the true lesson and riches will lead us directly to Heaven one day. 

- Be true to the Word of God and share without expecting a reward.

3) Favoritism is not necessary because God loves us equally no matter who we are

Acts 10:34-35

Romans 10:12-13

- Check the song “It’s a Small World”

- It is one of the early children songs and it fully explains equality and breaks and walls between races and countries or status in life.

- How truly wonderful it is that God treats us all the same way. 

Summary:

What good does favoritism do when it comes to spreading the Word of God?  All it does is create division through many Christians thus even creating another religion that will teach others of the wrong faith that will result to ruin.  The worse part is when the Devil will make this as an opportunity to tempt us with riches to teach others how to move away from the truth. And this truth is that God will love us and treat us all the same way because he wanted us all to be with Him in Heaven someday.
