PAUL'S PRAYER FOR THE CHURCH (Eph 3:12-21)

     Christ built only one CHURCH and he empowers her to PRAY for one another like apostle Paul did in accomplishing its earthly mission of EDIFYING all brethren and EVANGELIZING those seeking God (Mtt 16:18;  28:18-20; 1The 5:11; 1Pet 2:9-10).

     Through obedient FAITH in his Son, we may now approach God with freedom, privilege, and confidence as his children of promise (Gen 12:3; Rom 9:8).

     The Christians can now approach God directly, knowing he is our REDEEMER, loving and compassionate FRIEND (Psa 119:153-160).

     Our PRAYER is only possible through Christ - the Great High Priest, and only "Way, the Truth and the Life "who Advocates for us to the Father until now, and his role disclosed by apostle John (Jno 14:6; Heb 4:14-5:10; 1Jno 2:1-2). 

     Paul is actually telling us that trials and sufferings should not diminish our cause for Christ to SAVE all men (1Tim 2:4). 

    The apostle wants us to sustain our FAITH in Christ that is "rooted and grounded" in LOVE; comprehending its breadth, length, depth, and height that surpasses knowledge (vv. 17-20). 

     His ultimate GOAL for us is "to be filled with all the fullness of God".
