Christian World Ministry "..the churches of Christ salute you" Romans 16:16
The conrgegation started in 1998 when MOSES team led by Richard and Reuben Emperado, Giter Sameon, Vicente Tautuan, Nathan Arellano and Marvin Whitt, an American " missionary" came to Tagbilaran City.
A month later, Chito Cusi's March for Christ team came to help for one week through its medical/dental/ spiritual services.
The church started to meet at the house of Nathan Arellano. Later, the group was conducting services in a commercial building owned by Chito Cusi at the Tagbilaran's wharf area for free.
Much later, two students of PIBS came to help the work there. They were Junven Cajilan and Reul Cahulogan. Then the congregation rented a building along Clarin Street with the help of PIBS and American brothers till 2006.
To continue the Lord's work, Reul Cahulogan worked with a private firm while his brother-in-law Nathan Arellano started a bakery business.
With the help of the Lord, the congregation was able to buy a Tax Declaration lot and put up a chapel there.
Later, Michael Stock, an American brother who married a Filipina from Southern Leyte arrived in Tagbilaran City and helped the church there by hiring Ernest Montoyo.
But this was short lived as Michael Stock decided to revive a " pre-millenialist" church in that area and Ernest Montoyo was invited to teach at Cebu Bible College.
Also Reul Cahulogan who got employed with the local DSWD left for Guindulman, Bohol and helped the 1970- established Bantig congregation.
There, with the Lord's help and the local members, he organized the Bohol Summer Youth Camp till 2019.
The Tagbilaran City church with a 65- membership now meets along Totolan- Mariveles Diversion Road, particularly at Upper Totolan, Purok 3 at Dauis. Bohol, about 5 minute pedicab/ jeepney ride from the city.
Serving the Dauis congregation today are Felix Aranas and his son- in- law Nathan Arellano, married to Deborah, a registered nurse.
Deborah and sister Phoebe, a public school teacher, are teaching the young people and children every Lord's day bible classes.
Nathan Arellano, a graduate of Cebu Bible College and son of Fred Arellano, a PBC graduate, now serves the congregation as evangelist. He can be contacted through his FB account and Smart mobile phone number 09420511343.
Owing to the present "pandemic," about 30 members of the church participate in an on line "worship services!"
