Christian World Ministry "..the churches of Christ salute you" Romans 16:16
Introduction:
Everyone is searching for something in their life but during these Holidays, we may not see it but people are suffering from all around the Globe. We’ve lost something or someone in our life but the most tragic thing that we lost is Hope. Hope is what makes us unique as humans, with hope we can recover from any tragedy or struggle in our life and once we’ve lost it, we turn to despair. This is where we can help each other and most importantly, realize that God is always there giving us a glimmer of hope in our lives.
1) Hope in Hard Times
Hebrews 10:23
2 Corinthians 1:4
- The sufferings and trials we encounter are tests that God bestowed upon us to keep our faith in check.
- Let us keep our faith strong as ever because God is forever faithful to us.
- Just wait because God will extend His comfort to deliver us from our pain and sufferings.
2) Hope is our Strength
1 Thessalonians 1:3
Isaiah 12:2
- Hope is indeed our Strength especially if we put our Hope on our Lord Jesus Christ.
- There is nothing that can stop us on our good works and no one who can tell us to think that God is not the strength of our heart.
- Just remember that we should not be afraid of losing our hope.
3) Hope is strong even for unbelievers
Matthew 12:21
2 Timothy 2:25
- That is right, how glorious it is that God promises hope for all so we can all be together one day in Heaven.
- The salvation that we Christians talked about is what we can preach to others now so they can join just one family of faithful servants of God our Father and with Jesus Christ who will lead us up there.
Summary:
The ideals of Christmas observed by many is not a holiday for giving and receiving or being kind and thoughtful to others because a holiday has a time limit. But if we bring up our hope that God will have us all reunited is the best holiday we can think of for it will be forever. Let us keep our hope sturdy during our hard times, think of God as our Hope to keep us strong so that someday, even if we don’t look at our calendars hoping for Christmas to come, we always have God and Jesus to give us the gift of Hope in our life.
