Tell Me the Story of Jesus Christ, From the Beginning to 8 Days Old

The documentary of Jesus Christ began before the beginning. Before time began. We will  review the events of Jesus’ life up to age 8 days old. 

We learn from John 1:1-3 that Jesus is God’s Son and that he was with God in the  beginning and Jesus Christ was the creator of all things. 

God ordained that all of His angels are to worship Jesus Christ (Hebrews 1:6). 

These things occurred before time began. There is no flow of time in the presence of God  (Psalms 90:4 & 2 Peter 3:8; Revelation 4:8). 

In John 8:42, 6:38, 16:28 we learn that God himself sent Jesus Christ to earth for our  salvation. 

Jesus’ birth was prophesied hundreds of years ahead of time according to Isaiah 7:14.  And we learn in Matthew 1:18:-23 and Luke 1:26-31 the birth of Jesus was told to Mary  and Joseph before his conception. 

In Luke 1:39-41 & 44 we learn that Jesus had a powerful impact on others even while  being carried in his mother’s womb. Mary entered Elizabeth’s home after she had  conceived Jesus; Elizabeth was in her 6th month carrying her first child, John.  Immediately John leaped with joy in his mother’s womb. Also Elizabeth expressed her joy that Mary, the mother of Jesus, entered her home. 

Though Jesus is the Son of God, he had a humble birth, being laid in a manger (Luke 2:7).  My research shows that a manger was either a trough used to feed animals or used as a  place to hold lambs that were going to be sacrificed. 

One night the birth of Jesus was announced by an Angel of God to a group of shepherds watching their flock. (Luke 2:8-11, 16, 17, Matt 2:11) The shepherds left immediately to worship Jesus Christ.

After the angel of God made the announcement of Jesus’ birth to the shepherds, suddenly  a multitude of heavenly host appeared praising God and saying “Glory to God in the  highest and on earth peace, good will toward men.” 

When Jesus was 8 days old, Mary and Joseph brought Jesus to the temple for his  circumcision service (Luke 2:21). 

During the circumcision service, a devout man of God by the name of Simeon, came in  and immediately recognized Jesus as “a light to the Gentiles and the glory of the people of  Israel (Luke 2:25-32) . 

Also during the circumcision service, an 84-year old widow prophetess named Anna came  in. Anna also recognized Jesus and gave thanks to God and spake of Jesus to all them that  looked for redemption in Jerusalem (Luke 2:36-38 

After the circumcision service an angel of God appeared to Joseph and instructed him to  flee with Jesus and Mary to Egypt because Herod the king would plot to destroy Jesus. 

This covers the documentary of Jesus Christ from “in the beginning,” up to age 8 days  old.
